Jessamine County has been one of the faster-growing counties in the Bluegrass, and much of Nicholasville’s housing is newer construction. New homes can still have missing or displaced attic insulation, unfinished roofing and flashing details, and grading or downspouts that send water toward the foundation. Older homes near downtown

The streets around Main Street have homes that date back to the early and mid 1900s.
