Kari "Rosie" Cheek
Inspector/Owner
The only girl growing up in a sea of four brothers, our owner and Inspector in Chief, Kari “Rosie” Cheek, has been a tough cookie her entire life. A homeschooled, Methodist pastor’s daughter, she received her B.A. degree in English from the University of Kentucky in 2008, after which she ventured out into the world of building and rehabbing houses through AmeriCorps NCCC, serving people through non-profits throughout the southern region of the United States.
Upon going through the process of purchasing her first home (a real fixer upper!), she was inspired to study up and pursue a career as a Home Inspector, having always been something of a building science geek.
You should also know that Kari is a gadget head through and through. She not only employs the use of basic inspection tools, but is also trained and equipped with thermal imaging technology and high end moisture detection. She is also never without her trusty drone and FAA Commercial Drone Pilot’s license to ensure a thorough roof inspection, no matter how high or steep the surface may be.
