After obtaining her KY Home Inspector’s license, establishing Rosie Home Inspections in 2014 and steadily adding environmental testing, termite inspections, and commercial property inspection services to her offerings, Kari Cheek has made it her goal to go above and beyond for each of her clients, providing them with an extensive array of information about their prospective property.

Commercial Property Inspections
Buying or leasing a commercial building? A commercial property inspection will help with your decision making, providing an inventory of the property’s systems and components, along with documentation of their condition.
Residential Home Inspections
A professional home inspection will help you identify the current functionality of any given home, as well as help you anticipate issues that may occur in the future if maintenance does not take place.
WDI (Termite) Inspections
A WDI (Wood Destroying Insect) or Termite Inspection looks for the presence of damage or activity attributed to WDIs and is commonly required by lenders. This report is provided on a standard NPMA-33 form.
Air Quality / Mold Testing
Air quality tests that look for the presence of hazardous molds help detect hidden contamination, and are especially important for immune compromised individuals, as well as very young and very old occupants.
Radon Testing
Radon is a naturally-occurring radioactive gas that enters homes through cracks or openings in the foundation, and has the potential to cause lung cancer. 65% of buildings tested in Central KY were above the EPA recommended action level of 4.0 pCi/L.

What is a Property Inspection?
A residential home inspection is a visual examination of a home’s major structure, systems, and components that are visible and safely accessible.
These items typically include the roof and roof structure, building exterior and drainage, the below grade space, foundation and structure, electrical system, HVAC system, plumbing system, interior materials and components, and kitchen appliances.
A commercial property inspection is customized and performed based on the needs of each individual property and client, but ultimately provides written communication describing the issues discovered from observations made and research conducted by the inspector, to enhance the client’s information and knowledge about the commercial property to improve decision-making for buying, selling, maintaining or improving the property.
